Large Cat¡¯s Eye Quartz Diamond Halo Platinum Pendant

A large impressive and rare natural quartz with a fantastic cat¡¯s eye, known as chatoyancy in the trade. The cat¡¯s eye effect is most seen with chrysoberyl but in more rare occasions other precious stones can also display the unique phenomenon. It weighs 51.17 carats and has a sleek golden cognac color. It is surrounded by 2.80 carats of round brilliant cut diamonds creating a bright halo around the gemstone. Hand-fabricated in platinum.
